Large Capodimonte Porcelain Group of Singing Choirboys A capodimonte porcelain group on a ‘kidney’ shaped base, presenting three choirboys singing and directed by a Priest who is sitting in front of an organ. A small music box is mounted in the back of the organ. The scene is called ‘Schola Cantorum’ and signed ‘B Meril’, manufactured in the 1960s by King’s Porcellane, Italy. Good condition. Een grote ‘Capodimonte’ porseleinen sculptuur van zingende koorknapen. Links een priester, zittend achter een orgel, waarin een kleine speeldoos gemonteerd. De sculptuur is getiteld “Schola Cantorum” en gesigneerd ‘B Meril’. Fabr. ‘King’s Porcellane, Italy’. Afm: 50 x 24 x 25 cm.
