Biography:

Petr Alois Hampl was born on October 9, 1943 in Prague. After graduating from primary school, he studied art arrangement at the Secondary School of Art and Industry, graduating in 1960. In the same year he was admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts under Prof. Silovsky. After leaving, he switched to the graphic painting profession of Prof. V. Tittelbach and L. Čepelák. In 1967 he completed a cycle of graphic sheets on the theme 'Creation of the world - Garden of Eden'.

After graduating, he continued graphic work, alternating with painting and creating objects that were actually plastic images, as he presented at his first exhibition in 1970 at the Youth Gallery in Mánes in Prague.
