Biography:
Cor de Wolff (Middelburg 1889 – Amsterdam 1963) began his artistic career with batiks and woodcuts. Later, he focused on painting and practiced a wide range of graphic techniques. His favorite subjects included fairs, pubs, markets, and other lively scenes featuring people, often depicted in amusing ways. Much of his work is held at the Centraal Museum in Utrecht, though it is primarily found in private collections.
