Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said it is the most important Ayah in the Quran. It is one of the four parts of Quran that are attached to Arsh (Allah’s Throne). The significance of the Ayat al Kursi can be invoked from these sayings of prominent holy personalities.

It talks about how the power and knowledge of Allah encompass everything. When you recite Ayatul Kursi along with its meaning, you will see that the verse deals with Allah’s names and His knowledge. The two beautiful names Al-Hayyu (الحي) which means the Ever-Lasting and Al-Qayyum (القيوم) which means the Creator & Sustainer.
